Back in 1992, when my then-husband and I were looking to buy our first home, the builder
suggested we speak to a Mortgage Broker. At the time, we had never even heard of Mortgage Brokers, but it sounded far less stressful than dealing directly with a bank.
We were right! That broker made the experience smooth and memorable. I remember thinking how rewarding his job must be — meeting people from all walks of life and making such a difference in their lives.
Little did I know that only a few years later, I’d be on the same path myself.
In 2001, I began working at a fantastic, customer-focused bank (sadly, one that no longer exists).
When it was later absorbed by one of the Big Four banks, I made the leap into Mortgage Broking, following many of my colleagues who had already taken that step.
That decision was life-changing.
One of the greatest joys of this career has been watching my clients’ journeys unfold. Today, I’m writing loans for the children of clients I first met decades ago, some of whom were just “bumps” in their mothers’ tummies back then!
It’s become generational, and I feel privileged to be part of those family milestones.
Buying a home is about so much more than purchasing property. It’s about:
Security – having a place to truly call your own.
Achievement – reaching a milestone many people dream of.
The future – creating the foundation of long-term financial wellbeing.
Of course, the journey isn’t always straightforward. Life can throw unexpected challenges your way, and that’s where I find my happy place, helping clients through the tough spots and turning setbacks into successes.
Working with a Mortgage Broker means having someone by your side for the long haul. As life changes, I help you make the right decisions for your circumstances.
With the home ownership landscape constantly evolving, there are more loan options than ever before, and I can guide you to the one that best fits your goals.
Whether you’re buying your first home, refinancing, or planning for the future, I’m here to help you get all your ducks in a row before taking the plunge.
I’d love to meet you, and I’d love to see where your journey takes you.
